Beautiful Flowers
Custom Floral Design and Instruction
The Floral Design Class Created For You
Classes held in Albany, New York.
Each class is a minimum of two hours.
Classes can be scheduled for day or evening.
Classes may be scheduled for one to three people.
Classes are hands-on. All participants may make floral designs.
Based on your designs, you will receive a supply list of items to bring to
class.
Bring a notebook. You will receive numerous tips and suggestions for
working and decorating with flowers.
Where to Start?
What is your design experience?
Have you made floral designs or are you just starting out? What tools do you use? Have you worked with floral foam?
Will you use fresh flowers or silk flowers?
This will determine the types of flowers, containers, foam, and other tools, supplies, and materials you will use in class. You can
choose all fresh flowers or all silk flowers.
What do you want to learn how to make?
Do you want to make centerpieces, wreaths, topiaries, bouquets? Depending on the complexity of the piece and its degree of
completion, you can learn the basic construction for a variety of designs in one class.
What is your style?
What appeals to you — what colors, flowers, containers, types of designs? Bring photographs that show your style.
Do you have the time and patience to purchase all the flowers and supplies you need?
Before class, Janice will help you determine the flowers and other supplies you will need to make your floral designs. If you are not
used to purchasing flowers and supplies it can take several hours of shopping.
