Beautiful Flowers

Making and Decorating Wreaths

Just about any vine, as long as it is pliable, can be made into a wreath. Use either fresh-cut vines or soak them in water until flexible. Form the wreath by curving and twisting at least an eight-foot length of vine into a circle or oval. Securely wrap the end of the vine around itself. Keep adding vines, curving, twisting, and wrapping them into the base until you have reached the desired thickness.

To decorate start with the largest flowers, working towards the smallest. Glue each size of flowers into place before adding the next size. For berries, place four to six stems evenly around wreath, then fill in with more stems.
